From laundry to Carnival:
Unto 1990 Winand Wierts was owner of a small laundry in limburgian Vaals. In the cold months of carnival he hired empty ice-bars and sold fancy dresses there. As his son Ralph became twenty years old and was looking for a job, the senior had an idea:
It took a while until this idea could make its way. Father and son had to struggle against disbelief and doubts, but good ideas can´t be stopped. The successful idea gained ground in the Rhineland, the stronghold of Carnival, and is still thriving today.
